Vanilla Ice Cream

  • 1 cup whole milk, well chilled
  • 34 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups heavy cream, well chilled
  • 1–2 tsp vanilla extract, to taste (up to 1 TB)

In a bowl, mix the milk and sugar until the sugar is dissolved (use an electric mixer). Stir in the cream and vanilla. Turn on ice cream maker, then pour mixture in. Run for 25–30 minutes.
